"Solving the Puzzle: What does a modern General Aviation Airport look like in a Rural Context that preserves Quality of Life?"
PARTNERS would like to gather public input on design ideas, landscape considerations, recreational activities, cultural or historical features, community centers, meeting areas, and educational opportunities. Submit your concept of a modern airport within a rural, historical context through report, posters, comparative photos, artwork, collage, case studies, or depict contrasting examples. Entries will be nominated for awards in different categories. Ideas submitted will be considered during design phase of airport improvements.
Solberg Airport has a rich history rich in aviation exploration, dramatic local history, recreation, agriculture, and community events such as the annual Balloon Festival. The Solberg family, part of the local Readington community for more than half a century, wants to tap community creativity and energy to "Solve the puzzle: What does a modern General Aviation Airport look like in a rural context that preserves Quality of Life?"
